HOW ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS PLACED?

Dental implants are placed in a multi-step

process. The first step of the dental implant process is coming to our office for a consultation to determine if you are candidate. The next step of the process is the surgery in which the titanium tooth roots will be embedded into your jawbone.

Next is the osseointeration period where the dental implants actually fuse with your jawbone.

The final step will be the placement of the permanent crowns or bridges onto your dental implants.

HOW LONG DOES THE DENTAL IMPLANT PROCESS TAKE?

The dental implant process will take a few months from beginning to end, and will vary from patient to patient. This is necessary to ensure the dental implants are properly integrated with the jawbone. Patients have commented that dental implants are completely worth the wait and the best decision they ever made for themselves.
